Directorate of Part-Time Studies
Application Procedure for 2024/2025 Admission Session
The Directorate of Part-Time Studies was established in 2019 to provide ABUAD quality and functional education, predictable academic calendar and world class facilities to civil servants, working professionals, artisans, old and fresh secondary school-leavers and others seeking admission into academic programmes leading to full Bachelor’s degrees of our prestigious University. We offer admission into degree and non-degree (professional certificates, certificate and diploma) programmes.
Our programmes are innovatively designed to equip students with the requisite knowledge and competencies using best teaching methods and ICT-driven programmes. The courses are delivered in a flexible, affordable and innovative way to provide our students competitive advantage in today’s world.
Degree Programmes
Our degree programmes admit into 100 Level, 200 Level, and Top-up (Degree and HND Conversion) courses. All our courses are accredited and are guided by the rules of the National Universities Commission (NUC). Our growing list of NUC-approved courses currently includes:
In the College of Medicine and Health Sciences
In the College of Sciences
In the College of Social and Management Sciences
In the College of Arts and Humanities
We are constantly working on adding other courses to meet the growing demands for the ABUAD quality and functional education.
Graduates of our Part-Time programmes earn the same certificates as our regular students. Therefore, for fresh admission seekers, our Part-Time programme provides the same ABUAD quality education and certificate within the same number of years as regular students at a far cheaper price. (Our Part-Time students stay off-campus)
Our Top-Up (Degree and HND Conversion) facilitates CONVERSION from HND degree to university degree certification, provides opportunity for UPGRADE of Third Class/Pass degrees to higher degree classes, and thus provide leverage for better career opportunities for our graduates.
Admission requirements into our degree programmes are similar to those of our regular degree programmes. Kindly visit our website www.abuad.edu.ng for details.
