Every Candidate who applied through JAMB (i.e UTME and Direct Entry) must have two
Admission Letters (i.e ABUAD Provisional Admission Letter and JAMB Admission Letter).
To get your JAMB Admission Letter, you must do the following:
1. Make ABUAD your first choice of institution. This must be done by all candidates on
their JAMB portal. (Note: ABUAD will not do this for you).
2. Must have changed your choice of institution and course on JAMB portal to ABUAD and
course offered to you by ABUAD.
3. UTME Candidates must upload their O’Level result(s) at any CBT Centre or JAMB
Office around them. (Those combining two results must upload both).
4. Direct Entry Candidates must upload their O’Level result(s) and A’Level result or
Certificate at any CBT Centre or JAMB Office around them.
5. Candidates must constantly log in to his/her JAMB portal to see if ABUAD has offered
him/her admission on CAPS and subsequently accept such.
6. You must print out your JAMB Admission Letter on your JAMB portal and place this in
the white and green files that will be issued to you at resumption.
6. You must also print your JAMB result slip.
7. All Inter University Transfer Candidates must process their Change of Admission letter
with JAMB immediately after matriculation.
NOTE:
1. JAMB result is only valid for a year.
2. Every UTME / Direct Entry Candidate must have completed I, II and III above before
resumption. It is very important that Parents follow up on their ward(s) admission until
the JAMB Admission letter is finally printed.
3. That the validity of this admission letter is subject to the correct UTME Subjects
combination for ABUAD as stated on JAMB Brochure.
4. It is important that you visit any CBT center or JAMB office to link a valid and active
personal email to your JAMB portal and thereafter keep record of this JAMB login
details, as this will be used to complete your admission on CAPS.
